Safety First driving school has been in business for over 25 years serving the Ventura county community for over 25 years. Many of our instructors have been with us for years. We have several instructors that have been with use for 10+ years. All our instructors are required to do training, physical exam, testing through the DMV and a background check. We have both and male and female instructors available. We also customize the lessons to suit the client we are serving. This includes teens/adults with disabilities.

To educate and train safe, capable and confident drivers with all the skills necessary safely use a car in today's road system and successfully pass DMV examinations. There isn't a driver we can't improve. Safety First was founded in 1995 and has grown from a single instructor/single car operation to one of the largest driving schools in the state of California. For In Car Driver's training, we service areas from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles to Ventura and Ojai and all the areas in between.

Once the teen has completed Safety First's driver education course and passed the DMV permit test, he or she can start the Safety First In Car driver's training. This portion of driver's training is essential for teens to practice and apply their knowledge as a driver, and to get ready for the DMV drive test.
Traffic School

Our DMV-licensed traffic violator school (TVS) Internet course is licensed for use statewide. The easy-to-read program is entertaining, informative, and loaded with colorful graphics, videos, cartoons, and jokes that will have you laughing while you learn. Best of all, you can take it from the comfort of your own home (or wherever you have Internet access) and complete it in a few hours or over a few days-it's up to you!
