What driver education courses do you offer?
We provide teen and adult driver education programs, private lessons, road test preparation, motorcycle training, and senior driver evaluations across multiple Maine locations.
How can I schedule driving lessons?
Call (207) 784-6245 to schedule private lessons within two business days. Road test preparation requires minimum one-hour session with vehicle rental options available.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept personal checks without additional fees and credit card payments with no processing charges. Motorcycle course requires $200 deposit to secure enrollment.
Are your instructors certified?
All instructors hold Class A certifications. Our owner is state-certified to train driver education instructors and nationally certified to train motorcycle instructors.
What's included in the motorcycle training course?
Two-day program includes 5+ hours classroom instruction, 10+ hours practical riding, motorcycle rental, and completion card for Maine license endorsement. Requires safety gear and valid ID.
Do you offer hybrid classroom options?

Was good, met our needs. I liked how driving hours could be done during school study hall and it was easy to schedule w instructor. Lots of classes and times. They worked with us.

When I was 15 I knew that I needed to complete a drivers ed course, but I was not sure where to start and also I just personally didn't feel ready to start driving. Fast forward to a year later, when I was 16 I felt ready to start driving, so I started talking to one of my friends and she had recommended me to Roys. After that recommendation I had then signed myself up. Working with Roys was the best decision of my life!
My instructor Kira was amazing! She was really understanding and very patient. I was really nervous to get behind the wheel for the time, but Kira was always there for me and she had truly tried her absolutely best to guide me through everything! A huge thank you to Roys for that amazing experience!

Our sixteen-year-old son passed his road exam with flying colors after taking the driver's education course with Roy's. The examiner took me aside after administering the exam to mention how impressed he was with our boy's confidence and attention to remaining constantly observant of changing conditions. Job well done, Roy's!

Hands down the best Driver's Education school in Maine. Their hybrid curriculum is outstanding and affords students a ton of flexibility without sacrificing any quality at a bargain price. The state of the art Driving School Management software they use and student/parent portal makes scheduling classes and lessons a breeze. The staff and instructors are incredibly courteous and respectful. Top notch!
