In 2012 I attended Santo's Driving School. I received the education and skills required to become a safe and responsible member of the driving community. During my on-road driving lessons I was constantly encouraged and felt very comfortable. I was very nervous to learn how to drive. Starting with the pleasant and friendly office staff I was reassured I made the right decision to go to Santo's. I overcame my fear of driving with the help of two wonderful instructors Mr. John and Mr. Ray. They were both patient and eased my fear of driving.

Santo Driving School, LLC is a family owned and operated business. In 1966 Santo Calafiore an Italian immigrant opened his first location on Franklin Avenue, in the southend of Hartford. Starting with just one car, Santo learned enough Spanish, Portuguese, Greek and Polish to teach people of all backgrounds to drive.

Connecticut state law requires any person that has never held a CT state driver's license to take an 8 Hour Mandatory Safe Driving Course. This class includes 4 hours of the effects of Drugs and Alcohol and 4 hours of safe driving practices in a classroom environment. After completing the class you will receive a CS1 certificate.
