Your Trusted Iowa Driver Education Program
At AAAA Driving School, we have dedicated 15 years to providing comprehensive driver education tailored to Iowa residents. Our state-approved curriculum combines 30 online lessons with hands-on behind-the-wheel training, ensuring students develop essential skills for lifelong safe driving. We prioritize flexibility, offering self-paced online modules and customizable driving schedules coordinated directly with parents and instructors. Our program, licensed by the Iowa Department of Transportation, eliminates the need for a separate IDOT road test upon completion. With a focus on affordability and transparency, we clearly outline fees including a $450 base rate and gas surcharge policy tied to local fuel prices.

Our team, led by experienced instructor Verd, emphasizes patience and practical skill-building during 12-hour driving sessions that include real-world scenarios from residential streets to interstates. We maintain rigorous standards through 30 lesson quizzes and a final evaluation, preparing students to earn their Iowa Certificate of Completion. As a division of SVTOYS LLC, we remain committed to adapting with industry changes while maintaining personalized service and community-focused instruction.

Driver Education Course
Our comprehensive driver education program combines 30 online lessons with 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Students learn traffic rules, vehicle control, and real-world driving scenarios. The Iowa Department of Transportation-approved curriculum prepares teens for licensing at age 14 or 16.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
Structured 12-hour driving sessions include residential streets, highways, and interstates. Instructors focus on IPDE principles and the Smith System for safe driving practices. Lessons accommodate flexible scheduling with parent-instructor coordination.
Online Learning Platform
Self-paced online modules allow completion in 10-30 days with up to three lessons daily. The system tracks progress through 30 quizzes and provides email updates to parents. No simulator requirements ensure accessible learning.
Certificate Processing
Upon completion, students receive an Iowa Certificate of Completion uploaded directly to the state database. This eliminates manual submission and streamlines the licensing process at Iowa Driver Examiner's Office.
Flexible Scheduling
Students choose 10-30 day completion windows with makeup options for missed lessons. The program accommodates seasonal needs through limited-capacity track season sessions and summer athlete schedules.

I went thru this school when I took drivers Ed. But once I signed my son up I changed my mind. The experience my husband and I went thru with the instructor was unnecessary. Should have been handled differently.
