After you have completed the class, you will receive your completion statement via email from the DMV within 2 business days. You will also receive an email from Anshor with instructions for scheduling a permit test and behind-the-wheel lessons. Colorado is now requiring people getting their permit for the first time to pre-register on their website.

We will be unable to issue any classroom or written permit test paperwork without this pre-registration number. Anshor Driving School is Northern Colorado's premier driving school.

Since 1994, we have been providing professional driver education services in Northeastern Colorado. Duane Anderson is president of Anshor Driving School. Grew up in Denver CO. and attended Ranum High School. He attended Adams State College in Alamosa, CO on a full ride scholarship for football. After Graduation, and teaching 2 years in Del Norte, he became the Driver's Education instructor for Greeley School District 6 at both Greeley West and Greeley Central for eight years.Once the district dropped Drivers Education from the curriculum, he founded Anshor Driving School with partner Jerry Short in the fall of 1994.

Testing

Take your written and road skills test at our Colorado state-approved driving school in Greeley. The written permit test is required in order to have a permit issued by the DMV. Since you are not already a student of ours, you will need to bring a picture ID and your old license if you have had one.

Students must complete all modules for the class and spend at least 30 hours on it. There is a final exam that you must pass with a score of 80% of higher to officially complete the course. The course must be completed within 180 days. You will receive your completion statement for the class within 48 hours of completion of the course.
