What documents are required for registration?
Students need a Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP), proof of identification, residency, and social security number. Parental signature is required for minors.
How long does the teen driving course take?
The program requires 4 consecutive days with 8-hour sessions covering 30 hours classroom and 8 hours driving instruction.
Can I schedule a road test directly with you?
Yes, we offer third-party DMV testing by appointment on weekdays starting at 8:30 AM and Saturdays.
What payment methods do you accept?

Everything was very unorganized. Kids in the class were not supervised as some kids walked several blocks to Zaxby's for lunch. I am not blind to the way teens talk, but foul language was used in the class by students and instructors. The driving was horrible, the instructor was very nervous and would say, turn that way, not left or right. So my child was scolded for not knowing which way was that away.

I just finished my 4 day class here and I learned so much! My friends told me that drivers ed would be boring so I was dreading on taking the classes. But Livingston driving academy was anything but boring. Ms. Denise is an amazing instructor, she's very charismatic and does NOT tolerate other kids being distracting for other students. I no longer feel scared about driving. I feel very prepared for whatever happens on the road.
I only missed 3 on my test because they had somewhat similar answers or it was a tricky worded question. I wasn't nervous before the test at all. I felt very confident the entire time (expect for the 3 that i missed lol). Whenever I had a question or needed help answering the question they were very helpful. This academy defiantly produces safe, smart, defensive drivers :)

The Driving Academy is not only professional but effectively delivers a message of safe-driving and student priority. Learning from this class both with education videos and effective student cooperative worksheets will surely assist me in the future of my driving career. Both Mrs. Denise and her daughters did a good job in teaching and answering questions making the class fun and educative with their sense of humor and professional state of mind everyday.
