The Western New York Driver Safety Program is the local delivery agency for Driver Training Associates Point and Insurance Reduction Program. Since 1994, we have been promoting safe driving and saving our customers money. Our certified instructors will refresh your driving knowledge, provide you with essential information on driver attitude and behavior, and acquaint you with defensive driving techniques and NYS vehicle and traffic laws. The fee for the program is $30, the online course is $24.95. There are four convenient locations in Erie & Niagara Counties.
Services
The New York State Point & Insurance Reduction Program (PIRP), approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles, is available through private companies or corporations, called "course sponsors", throughout New York State. Each qualifying course must meet strict standards for the safe driving information presented and program effectiveness.

I took this course at the Cheektowaga Days Hotel to reduce my car insurance after taking another course for a speeding ticket. My insurance rates skyrocketed after my son turned 16. This helped cut my car and motorcycle rates. It cost me $30 and I'm saving about $90/yr. for 3 years. The instructor was knowledgeable and made it interesting.
