Q: How much do truck drivers make? After one year's experience, expect to make $45-$50K, and the pay just keeps going up from there. Q: Are there a lot of truck driving jobs? A: The trucking industry is booming! Trucking companies tell us they can't hire enough drivers. The options for drivers with commercial drivers licenses (CDL) include over-the-road semi, local semi, straight truck, and bus driving.
We are offering a special discount for those individual self paying students that reside in Michigan. Call 419-837-5730 for details. Great experience! Instructors are very informative and lots of one on one training. Sharon is very helpful and everyone wants you to succeed. Nothing is sugar coated and they are honest with your performance and where you need to be. Cost and training are best value you can find.

I checked out several local CDL training facilities because I was paying out of pocket and wanted to get the best training for my money. After speaking with speaking with Sharon, I decided to go with Trainco. She is very knowledgable and went the extra mile answering all of my questions. Russ is a great instructor and makes sure you are prepared for your vehicle inspection, skills (trailer backing) and road test. Pat with over a million miles of road experience helped with advice and a few tricks of the trade.

You will get a lot of time behind the wheel at this school. I passed without any problems and I had no prior truck driving experience. Money well spent! If your looking for an excellent CDL school Trainco is the one you want.

TL;DR affordable, good instructors, but only stick shift trucks when I was there, still had fun and got a job The instructors here are very good at what they do, and will take turns teaching, so if one instructor's teaching style doesn't work for you, another's will. I learned a lot while I was there, had fun, and was able to get hired as a driver almost immediately.

When I went there, they only had manual transmission trucks, which I couldn't quite get a handling of. When it came time to take the test I was worried I'd have to take it elsewhere to get an auto, as I only had enough money left for one shot, but the Trainco staff was able to pull some strings for me an find an automatic truck, which I am forever grateful for, especially since Trainco has pretty decent tuition prices. The trucks are pretty rough, but it's a bunch of beginners driving semi trucks, so that's to be expected. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time.

Outstanding instructors, have to be an experienced driver to get one of those jobs. Super intuitive training process. Driving a semi is really difficult, nothing in life really prepares you for it, so there's no shortcuts. At least at this Trainco, they will not give up on you (me), no matter how hard you (I) suck. That's a huge telief, as I really suck.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff. I did not take the CDL program through this organization just some training and the test. The training was well worth the investment as there are specific guidelines and procedures for taking the test that I would have never known. Unlike other people that commented poorly on the facility and not passing you if you didn't go to their school I STRONGLY disagree.

The staff has enough respect for their position and their jobs not to pass poorly skilled drivers. I did not pass the first time, nor the second time, but it was 100% my fault not theirs. I will be sending other people from my staff to do testing and training with Trainco.

I had a very good experience taking the 80 hour accelerated CDL-A class. (I already had a class B) My instructor, Pete did a great job delivering the needed knowledge and keeping things relaxed when you inevitably get frustrated. The class sizes are small, (4 people) and most of the class time was spent in the truck. At the end of the 2 weeks I had the knowledge and skills to pass my test! The whole staff was friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend Trainco.

Trainco training was awesome! It was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I've ever had. Sharon and Stephanie were so great with me on the phone, it's the reason I decided on Trainco. The instructors exceeded my expectations, with all the experience between them I feel confident that I will have a successful career. They prepare you not only to pass your test, but to become a knowledgeable and safe driver. And they make it such a good time you leave with lifelong friends. I couldn't recommend Trainco more highly, but don't take my word for it. see for yourself!

Excellent experience. My class had four people with very different backgrounds and different levels of prior knowledge. The only trailer I had backed up before was a 20' boat behind my car. A 10 speed manual transmission tractor with a forty-eight foot trailer was way beyond anything I had done before and I wasn't certain I could do it. But all of the instructors taught me how.

They are experts at teaching. Lance, our primary instructor, was amazingly patient and great giving instructions. Best of all the class was boatloads of fun, my sides hurt from laughing so much.

This Company has some issues with its training. They claim you get many hours a day in the truck of driving experience, but what ends up happening is as the class size grows you get much less. I was getting no more than 20 mins a days actually driving on the road. We spend alot of time taking trucks/trailers back and forth for the class area campus in findlay to the Head quarters in perrysburg.

The other big issue was constantly changing trucks which became a big headache because once you learned the way one truck drove you were thrown into another truck that drove completely different. There was very little time spent on the pretrip inspection and the whole class I was in was thrown into the DOT test unprepaired. My advice is be careful because after you have payed them you can't get your money back after 4 days.
