Mr Everett is terrible! He gave my husband the wrong time to take his test & charged $100 to reschedule the test. He lied about the time that was scheduled. He is very unprofessional. Terrible instructor

I recently finished and passed the test. Didn't agree with everything that was said or done, but at the end of the day, you learn whats necessary to pass the Dmv test. Some of the instructors know what the're talking about ( Antonio, Jordan, Rich, ). They will have you driving, shifting with confidence, and with no prior experience. All YOU have to do is listen.

The recruiters Kevin and Chris are great, and full of energy. They genuinely want you to succeed. Overall it was a good experience. You get to network, build friendships with good people, and learn how to " slide em". One main guy has control issues, (Everett) but if you can get pass him you can drive a 53 footer. -Hawk Blade

The worse school ever! This school will set you up for failure! Unorganized, unprofessional Poor communication. And one cocky rude man name Keith Evert! How this school receives 5 stars reviews are beyond insane. My boyfriend has attended this school after completing his training he didn't feel confident because of lack of dive time but he did pass his pre trip test he had troubles getting an actual date set to take his CDL test after weeks of back and forth and emails he Finally got an actual date but still had to wait two months to take his test without any additional training even asking can he come and practice which they never had any dates available. So please beware of this school fyi if this school closes for anything you WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED. good luck And GOD BLESS!

1 year today and I have to share my experience with this school. I enjoyed the atmosphere and how down to earth the instructors were. Special shout out to Raul. He was professional and patient from the very beginning. I highly recommend this school and have already told others to sign up!

They can take a person who has never driven a truck or shifted gears and turn them into a bonified truck driver in a month. I saw it with my own eyes. If you show a true desire to succeed, they will not let you down. Recruiters from several major companies come to the school and offer you a job from the day you graduate.

Shippers Choice was a great school, I learned a lot of lessons from each instructor which lead me to succeed. I was one of the students that didn't know anything about trucks when came in and left a experience truck driver. Highly recommend Shippers choice!

Currently enrolled here in Chester, Va starting my 3rd week. This is poorest run facility I've ever seen in my life. The instructors are lazy, the facility is never clean, the trash can is over flowing, there are 15 students (because 10 got so mad they left) and ONE truck available for us to practice. We are LUCKY to get 5 minutes of driving time a day. If you are even considering a CDL school, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to CDS or anywhere but here. I learned my lesson a little too late.

I had a great experience at Shippers Choice. For my recruiter Chris, who was a great person, to Mrs. Hope who helped in every she could and all of my instructors. Every employee there is great and willing to help in anyway they can. Each instructor have their own way of teaching, so what you can't learn from one you should be able to learn from another.

They are not there to hold your hand and they're not going to. Come in focus and get it done. Either trucking is for you or it's not. Don't get me wrong my first two weeks were rough I struggled and I wanted to give, but Antonio who's one of their instructors worked with me and got me through. So as long as they see you trying they will help as much as they can. My only recommendation is have your permit before you go. They will make you get it, but I feel it's best if you have it before you go. Other than that great great school.

I looked around a lot before going with Shipper's, and they are easily the best school in this area. I just finished my training at their Manassas Park location and got my Class A CDL. The instructors at Shipper's are knowledgable, professional, and available. Some of the negative reviews complained about students from different levels being in the same class.

That IS their system, and it works. You will learn as much from other students as you will from the instructors, and you'll learn it faster. If you play with your phone in class and in the yard and don't study, don't expect to get your license. But If you work at it, they will support you and get you through. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is that their equipment needs updating. It's adequate but not great. Understand, no school is going to give nice new equipment to students for them to abuse, but Shipper's could use some newer trucks and trailers to replace some of the more beat up and unreliable ones.

I started to school in March 2019. I visited 4 training schools before getting my CDL license. This was the most professional one of them. I made the right choice and saw how right I was in my choice. The management and teachers were all helpful, friendly and very good. Don't look for another place, Shipper's Choice is the right address for you. Thanks for everything Shipper's Choice.

I just passed my Class A CDL Road Test, and it is all thanks to Shipper's Choice in Manassas. If you're looking for a new career in the trucking industry, or want to make a go at it driving buses, Shipper's Choice is the place for you. Financing is available, and they have recruiters that hire directly from the school. The classes can be large. However, the trainers and instructors do everything in their power to prepare you and give you the best chance to succeed. But it's up to you to put forth the effort. Trucking g isn't for everyone, but it can be for you.

Do not go to this school! You will lose time and money! 30 students from 3 different class in same room! You will wait 1 hour for Skill training! Because too many students on 2 trucks! Do not choose this school! They will treat you like dog after got money from you! I am telling the truth! Shippers Choice in Manassas is Big LIARs! They need to change employees in office! Teachers are good but employees in office are Lazy and LIARs!

Great school! Getting a Class A is hard work and Shipper's Choice provides you with the tools needed to achieve it. Driving a tractor trailer is not for everyone. But if you really want it you can get it here.

I went to shippers choice they said financing would tell me how much I needed down payment and they would finance the rest. It said $300 and I paid it. 2 weeks in they said they needed $200. I didn't have it and they kicked me out. I hustled up for the money and came back 2 days later with it. I finished school and went to training. I found out they didn't teach me diddley squat.

It was a waste of money going there. However the road was hard as hell. Between school and training I lost everything. My house, sold my car, became homeless and just stayed in my truck and stuck with it. Now, w years later. I train. And they still SUCK compared to other schools. All they care about is the $$$$$. But I average $1500 take home now. Paying off those debts I incurred.
