Ron Bandy previously taught defensive driving for letter carriers with the United States Postal Service. He also taught driver education at Kirkwood Community College. Currently, Ron is a member of the Iowa Association of Safety Education, Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and a certified instructor with the Iowa Motorcycle Rider Education Program. He graduated from the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Academy to teach with the Rider's Edge Program. Ron is an AARP driver safety instructor.
Online Motorcycle Safety Foundation eCourse is required to be completed by the start of the motorcycle class and participants will need to provide proof of completion certificate at the start of the class to participate.

Ron's basic motorcycle rider class was absolutely the right choice for my wife. She had never ridden a motorcycle and by the end of the weekend she was riding and passed the course! Ron and his range assistant, Amy, were patient with all riders and really delivered quality, professional instruction. I highly recommend Ron Bandy as a qualified, knowledgeable instructor.
