If I could give no stars I would. Terrible place in all aspects. The staff, the zoom lessons. no one answers the phone. Ugh what a headache this place has been. Lesson learned!

I almost never write reviews of past bad experiences, but this is one that is in need of a say. Back in the fall of 2018, Chelsea High School was providing Pleasant Auto School for both classroom and road lessons for the price of $500. The class portion went very well, the instructor was extremely nice and provided us with basic knowledge when it comes to operating a vehicle. Anyways, fast forward 2 months when it was time for our road lessons. this is when the nightmare of this establishment began.

I was 17 at the time and I really wanted to take my 12 road lessons as close to each other as possible. Just when I thought this was going to be an easy process.boy was I wrong. Like many past reviews, yes, it was nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone at the front desk (while calling every single day), and the one magical time I did get in touch with someone, the lady seemed to not care about me trying to schedule road lessons THAT HAVE BEEN ALREADY PAID FOR! Therefore, I only received 1 road lesson within a 3 month period.

Road lessons were months apart and there was not one inkling of effort to have them done sooner. Once I turned 18, I completely dropped this course. I might as well threw the $500 out the window. (Non Refundable) I joined Sonia's Driving School in East Boston to schedule my road test right away, I passed on my first try and that was the end. I finally received my license. MAIN TAKEAWAY IS DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

You might as well wait until you're 18 while having a family member teach you how to drive for practice (if possible) so you can go straight for the road test - this will save you months of waiting for road lessons from this place.

If you would like to get your license, DO NOT GO HERE! I truly don't know how they are still in business. The RMV should really shut them down. They don't care about getting back to you after leaving messages etc. Denise is extremely rude! It took my son a year to complete 12 hours of his required road lessons and after all that, they told him he had to wait 6-8 weeks for a road test. I then transferred him out to Henry's Auto School in Everett. They got him a app right away. I did file a complaint to the RMV.

The only good thing that this school has are the instructors, they are really nice people and help me with my driving. But I didn't have enough classes, I started in August of 2019 and it was February of 2021 and haven't finish my 12 required classes, they said that those classes expired, but how I was suppose to not let my classes expired when they didn't even answer my calls, or even the office was close.

And when they answer me I could only schedule 1 class (if they had). They didn't give me the rest because it expired, but they gave me a last class to see if I was prepare for my road test. Thus, I try that this school could take me to my road test, When I had my "last class", and the instructor said that I had to do my own appointment in Wilmington MA, so I could call to this school pay so they could take me.

I did what the instructor say, but the school never answer me, which I'm great full for because I would lost $180 to just take me there. Don't waste your time and money here!

Lmao im making it my life goal to get this place shut down. Terrible experience. I finished the class in October 2020 and its June 2021 with the only answer to a phone call for driving lessons being to give a payment which i got hung up on halfway through giving the bitch on the phone the card info. So i will just be waiting 3 more months till i turn 18 to get my license, with my Insurance being through the roof! All because i "went through" the shittiest excuse for a driving school there could ever be. Fuck this place.

Critical:Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value Finished my online classes mid october and have called to schedule lessons every day since and have gotten no answer, so as everyone i know is able to drive, 5 months later and still not one answer calling every day (trying to call during their ridiculous hours for a "school"). Better off waiting till im 18 to just take my test.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS SCHOOL. I've been waiting three months for my road test, they told me they would call me to let me know and they still haven't. They are highly unprofessional and unorganized with their customers. They never pick up the phone or reply back to emails. I do not recommend this school to anyone. Very bad service.

I thought this would be a good and convenient option because they go into schools to teach the classroom portion (well, pre-COVID, anyway) and pick up students at the school for lessons. I was wrong! Lessons were nearly impossible to schedule. They usually do not answer the phone, nor do they respond to voice mails or emails. Lessons were once a month at best, and the sole instructor was a cranky older man.

One of the lessons was mysteriously "cancelled" by their admin staff and once we got a lesson that I never scheduled at all.complete disorganization from the top down! Finally they hired some more teachers but when my child completed the entire class, they refused to certify her with the RMV for weeks on end due to "short staffing." I finally had to open a Better Business Bureau case to get them to do this final step. The whole experience start to finish took 12 months and was a complete nightmare.

I had the worst experience with this driving school. It took over 1 year from the time my son took the class. I chose them because they offered online classes when the pandemic started so my son could get it over with. Trying to schedule lesson was awful. They would only schedule one lesson at a time and then you had to call back to schedule another but they don't answer the phone or email. It took me 2 1/2 months to schedule his last lesson. Then it took over a month for them to record at the registery that he completed drivers ed.

TERRIBLE One stars is a gross understatement. This is the worst auto-school in history. The Instructors are great and teach it very well. However, FROM BOOKING, TO COMMUNICATION, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! The do not answer, nor do they call back. They always try and assert blame. They make the RMV look like Saints. Please, PLEASE, do not make the same mistake I did. Please.

Save your time, and your money. Not to mention they wasted Three (3 ) hours of my day, when I scheduled a road test and I get there and the doofuses messed up. Please, from a concerned citizen, do NOT repeat my mistake.

Not good place at all. My first class was at the beginning of the summer and now it's february and it took me this whole time jusy to finish. Multiple times i would have to wait weeks at a time just dor someone to answer the phone. And They gave me lessons i've done before twice. Completely wasting the hour od class you can get your hands on a month. I was told i havw 8 weeks for my road test appointment now it's moved to june?

We have three kids. Our first went through Pleasant and we had a great experience. They were professional and helpful and friendly. When it came time for the road test our kid was prepared. We paid the extra fee to have Pleasant pick them up, allow them to drive for an hour, and then go take their test. We were informed about the whole process - even that we had to pay the registry directly for the road test fee.

Our second kid went to Medford Auto. The instruction was fine but when it came time for the road test, we were not informed about their process and it delayed her getting her license by a few weeks. By the time our last kid was ready to drive, we returned to Pleasant. So glad we did. Even during pandemic they did everything they could to keep folks safe and follow state protocol.

We are now waiting a date for a road test. Would totally recommend this local business. So valuable. No need for those bigger chain driving schools. Keep it simple and safe! Pleasant drivers ARE better drivers!

I started Drivers Ed September of 2019. It is now February 2021 and I have only completed 7 out of 12 classes. My permit is going to expire in 6 months. I have called these people 30 times today and not one answer. And its like this EVERYDAY. The driving instructors are very nice. Too bad whoever the hell stays at the front test that cant even have common decency to pick up the phone until at least one month later. I do not recommend doing school here. Save your time and money please

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I paid for my driving courses in full which I had no problem doing. I had a scheduled course and was unaware in March that they would be temporarily closing down business. I never received a notice nor a call or text stating that my appointment was canceled. Once they reopened the recorded voice message had stated they are open Monday through Friday from 8am-12pm.

I had called multiple times a week and left voice messages with no response back. This company is a nightmare and is only looking for your money. I would never recommend anyone here and I tell a majority of my friends to avoid this place. You should do the same! BEWARE!

This is the WORST WORST WORST driving school on the face of the planet. I cannot emphasize this enough, but never in your lifetime should you ever consider going through this school under any circumstance. Their staff consists of rude and ignorant people. Their system is unorganized. It has taken an overwhelming amount of time for me to earn a license. The only good thing about this school are some of the workers who give the road lessons because they are very nice and understanding at times.

I signed up my 16 year old daughter for driver's ed, observations and road lessons at Pleasant Auto. Alicia is a pleasure to work with. She is super polite and very accommodating as I had to keep rescheduling due to my daughter's school and activities schedule. My daughter's first driving lesson went really well. She did not feel rushed, stressed, or frustrated by the instructor. This is a busy school so plan accordingly.

Don't. Just don't. As soon as my son was eligible to take the class, he did. I went to the parent class the 2nd week in Feb. He was eligible to get his license in Aug. but they did not certify him until mid Sept. claiming all sorts of excuses. Until I finally got someone on the phone who figured out that they had my name wrong despite the fact that I gave it to them along with my sons name and my phone number every time I left a message.

Which was a lot, even tho I rarely got a call back. You have to call 16-20 times a day to get a person who will tell you to callback later nothing is available. Anyhow, it is now October and I followed the instructions. Gave them $150 In Aug for a road test that has YET to be scheduled. Was told to call today after 3 for a time. But after 9 calls and one message to get somebody on the phone.

I was told the registry told them that there is absolutely nothing available. This process is so frustrating and this school is beyond unorganized. Do not waste your time. I was patient and polite for 9 months. Now I'm posting the truth.

This school so absolutely the worse. They took forever giving me my road lessons and on top they lied when I was going to take my road test. The receptionist was the rudest and never answers the phone and had the audacity to say I was harassing her when she gave attitude for false information. Worse school ever do not attend.

The program is great! The instructor was informative and very patient with my son. He passed his exam today on the first try! I thought the videos we watched were funny. Will definitely recommend to other parents. Thank you!

Absolutely worthless thieves! Dont send your kid here! They schedule them for drivunf lessins and then dont show up, erase you off the books and then try yo charge you $90 for missing your lesson! The classroom portion, is bogus, my kid said they watched movies made un the late 80's in a VCR! I didn't believe him until 2 hour parents class where they did the same!

So needless to say they took the $700.00 and my son never got his certificate, they will not let him take his last 3 hours of road lessons until we pay ANOTHER $90.00! I would rather spend that money filing a small claims court case against them!

When I got my Driver License five years ago. These people were really nice Pat the instructor is really nice guy. But I had brother go in so they can help get he's license so we go in the lady at the front was rude. Let me give some word of wisdom here when you have repeated customer come you don't treat them like shit or be rude to them. after my brother finish is rude test I will never bring anyone there again.

Its a shame because I really love pat that guy is great. But the lady at the front desk learn a little matters maybe she will get some where. I called today she was rude. I am a manager at dealership if she ever talk to my customer that way she would not have job the next day. Thank you

Very unpleasant experience! The only good part was instructor that my son had! Lady in a office was very rude almost every time I had conversation with her trying to get any information which you had to ask about everything because she would not instruct you or point into right direction thruout process unless you ask.4 months since I signed up my son for drivers ed and to this day still no road test.

Also almost two months after completing drivers ed there still was not record at RMV of certificate. Waste of time this place and money. Money was always ask up front. Road test is still not booked and they refuse to give my money back so I can go to other place to schedule road test. Do not recommend at all!

I booked my road test over 3 months ago now and still no response. When I went to ask how long it took they told me 4-6 weeks and I had to pay on the spot. Well I'm heading to my 14th week waiting and their response to me is that there are many others waiting this long and longer. To bad I can't get my money back otherwise I would! The least you guys can do is return my money back. Its so stupid to have someone waiting for months and say "no we can't refund you", i don't recommend this school to no one.

I recently went to Pleasant Auto School to get my License. I was completely inexperienced and nervous to get behind the wheel for the first time. Pat was my instructor. He knew exactly what to do and what to say to help me ease my fears, but pushing to do more and achieve my goal at the same time. I was out driving the streets on my first lesson, something I would have never believed.

Immediately after each lesson i was able to get another one in the books. I have a crazy schedule but Pleasant Auto School was extremely flexible in helping me. And the secretaries were all kind enough to allow me two lessons in advance. I have zero complaints about this driving school and highly recommend it to any age driver.

I went there a long time ago and I do not have fond memories of this place. I paid for the admission to the classes and I had to say I did not learn a thing in this place. Showed videos of accidents and what which I could've youtubed on my own. I ended up electing to stop attending the classes and just learned on my own through my father.

I got my permit when I was 16 so then decided to get my license as soon as possible, so I took this Driver's Ed course because they offered it in my school after school. The driving instructors are really nice and so are the vehicles. The reason why I am giving this review a 2 stars is because the receptionist sometimes is beyond rude for no reason.

It makes me want to hate calling in to schedule a road lesson. And speaking of road lesson, scheduling for it is so hard! If I call and schedule in for a road lesson, It'll take about 2 and a half weeks for the next available one. The main reason why I am giving such a bad review is because I still don't have my license. It has been almost 2 years since I got my permit and they're not making the process shorter for me.

I scheduled for a road test in the beginning of June to find out that it is going to take about 3 weeks for another booking. They said they would call me back ASAP when there is an available day. 3 weeks later when I called in to check what was going on, they said that they haven't booked my road test yet because I haven't paid my fees. I paid everything including the road test fees. They said they have no history of me paying my fees for the road test but luckily I had my receipt. So now I have to wait another 7 weeks for the next opening.

This is the worst auto school ever! Don't be fooled. They take your money and then you can't get an appointment. They are not nice on the phone and are really quite rude. They don't have enough drivers or cars. Believe me if you use this school you will be as frustrated as I was. They took 8 mons. of aggrevation to complete all the road lessons. They suck! Find another school. This school is far from Pleasant. They should call is Unpleasant School.!

Just wonderful! The instructors are great, firm but very patient. Even the folks in the office have been nothing but nice. It's been a really great experience, I would recommend them to anyone.
