Services
New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) has been serving students in the New England area since 1965. In the last 50 years, we've customized our training programs and expanded our locations to ensure the men and women of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire have access to comprehensive career training programs designed to prepare them for an entry-level position as a professionally trained truck driver or trained HVACR service technician.
With the NETTTS commercial truck driving training programs, students can pursue their CDL Class A or Class B License at all four of our Northeastern US-based CDL training school locations. Students that complete the program will have been taught the skills to start driving and pursue a future in trucking.
NETTTS is a registered training provider and meets all Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements. A CDL license or commercial driver's license is required for people to drive a commercial vehicle such as truck or tractor trailer. The size, weight, and mechanical differences from a passenger car--such as air-brakes--means that safely operating this type of heavy-duty truck can be a big responsibility.
When most people think about becoming a truck driver, they're thinking about a Class A Commercial Driver's License. This is the type of license you'll need to drive a tractor-trailer, semi-truck, big-rig or 18-wheeler. At New England Tractor Trailer Training School, we have several different Class A CDL training programs because we know that students that come to our truck driving school have a range of experience driving trucks. So even if you have no truck driving experience, we could help you. At NETTTS, safety comes first.

If you're not ready to face your challenges with sweat tears and fight for your dreams and goals than you should do your research cuz what's good to have 540 plus hours and a certificate if you can't get your license upon completion. Be ready to invest your time and money cuz if it was easy every one will be doing it.you will be face with disappointment and betrayal but at the end it will built your character you just created for yourself a big headache and a debt that it won't go stay tuned every one

I GOT MY CDL-A IN MA They told me 6-8 week wait for test date that was a lie it took about 12 for my first test (time out) Second test was suppose to be a 1-2 week wait took 4 almost 5 weeks to get my second date They do not answer the phones They are very unorganized I had to show face to get any answers i needed. If you are shy and dont speak up youll never get a test there I was always on time, polite and did what was asked and it ended up taking 16-17 weeks total of waiting AFTER GRADUATION to even get a test The trucks you practice on are different from the trucks you test on.

Yes they are in tough shape in practice yard (understandable) however when i attended this school I never saw all trucks running At the same time. For the money we pay there is no excuse for more than 1 truck to be down at a time. I watched people struggle with no help due to being understaffed some times. I remember i went to the yard and PATRICK was the only instructor and there were over 25 students he had to help.

Not fair to him or to the students. Road time i drove maybe a total of 2hrs and 30 minutes upon graduating. Drove maybe a total of 6 hours before my test in total. The frustration and stress of going to this school was absurd, waiting for my test kept me on edge because I was anxious about it. The amount of driving I had to do back and forth just to get an answer was the worst.

All and all, FOR THE YARD office (andover mass) and school (osgood st) Yall need better organization and communication skills. For upper management, Without the people working in the yard the school would be an absolute failure shame on all of you. Fix the trucks, stop lying to the paying person tell them the wait is longer than 6-8 weeks, the yard and chuck try their absolute hardest but seems like the funding just is not where it is suppose to be.

Do more instead of just running a monopoly and having the instructors and the yard office be your pawns for people to get mad at. Stop taking in people and over packing the classes for money. It is creating to many people per instructor. I really did not want to leave a bad review but after all the stress and frustration and being done i would not recommend this school to anyone.

Special thanks and much appreciation to Larry on the weekends Patrick on the weekends Jaz on the weekends Paul on weekends Tj weekdays Ernie (driving instructor) weekends Chuck Courtney Thank you all for helping me achieve my goal. I appreciate everything you guys have done Sorry i had to put it at the end of a bad review. Hopefully things will change in the future.

Experience would've been much better if we didn't have people discuss politics and making racial slurs at each other on a daily basis. School is very unorganized and disrespectful instructor specifically the one who called the class a bunch of monkeys when telling us to move our seats to take a test. despite all the negatives I'd say the only positive I got out of this school is getting my EPA, meeting new friends and got a job as an apprentice.

Instructors are knowledgable and friendly with a sense of strictness to make you successful. Getting my CDL was important for family reasons and starting a new and better career and life for myself, and I'm glad there was a school like NETTTS available. It's a big field with plenty of available jobs. The school itself has in-depth courses and instructors will help with the finer details when it comes to driving.

The school house staff are also very helpful when it comes to job searching, finance and setting up appointments. Fast and efficient. The length of the course is well worth the wait for the test with the state trooper.

So I'm 3 weeks away from graduation. I signed up for the 540 class. The classroom instruction was great. I learned a lot from the 2 instructors. My experience in the yard has not been that great. Half the trucks are broken. All the trucks leak something and are so run down. I have never seen the simulator let alone use it. We have had only one truck in the maneuver I'm currently at and you have to wait for 20 people to go before you get a turn in the seat.

Due to some people that still can't back up the truck after 6 weeks, you stand around in the cold for over an hour before you get in the seat. The yard instructors are very helpful and patient. I just don't think that this school is worth almost 12 thousand dollars. I do understand that this school prepares you to get your CDL but how can you learn on trucks that would be put out of service if they were to touch the road. I give two stars because an elite school shouldn't be equal to a community level school.

I had a very good experience here. A couple of instructors really stood out to me and was very hands on and all the knowledge they gave me was very helpful! Bobbie was a very great driving instructor, she actually walked me threw the shifting process step by step and gave me key points to become a safe driver I'm very appreciative of her for that!

Let's acknowledge all the great instructors they have there! They don't get enough credit for all the hard work they put in to make sure we succeed in life! Thank you netts for having great instructor's

I read another raving review 5 stars. I am absolutely positive that was written by an instructor or other employee of the school it sounds exactly like the line used by a few instructors. Word for word. If people are smart pay more attention to the number of bad reviews rather than the raving 5 star ones so obviously written by employees or most likely management!

I went to NETTTS as a short course student. The instructors were very helpful. They gave me the space I needed to learn and were available to give me direction as I needed it. NETTTS worked with me to find a schedule that fit the time and days that I could attend. NETTTS provided the resources I needed, I just had to show up and utilize them. Thank you to all at NETTTS who made it possible for me to obtain my Class A CDL. I would recommend this course to those wanting to obtain their Class A CDL.
