Thank you for inquiring about my Driver Education program. My program concentrates on beginning driver under the age of 18. This is a private driving school which offers small classes and one on one behind the wheel instructions. My program offers a more comprehensive program than is available in the public schools. My curriculum, follows all requirements established by the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles and NC Superintendent of Public Instruction. Class consist of 30 hours - student can not miss any of these hours - must complete all 30 hours, pass a final exam before we can schedule them to drive.

I live in Charlotte and my daughter took the classroom portion of drivers ed through CMS in January 2021. They had no idea when they we're going to get to her for BTW and the other three driving schools I spoke to told me it wouldn't be until the end of the summer. So I looked in surrounding communities and found Marvin Smith. They booked her immediately and we finished BTW in one weekend.
I met Marvin and he's a first class individual and so was Mrs. Terry, the instructor. They solved a very big problem for me, my daughter will now get her license months earlier than through the regular Charlotte pipeline. The drive to Albermarle was about 60 miles, but it was worth it in every way.

After going around in circles with my son's high school for two months trying to get his 6 hours of driving time, I gave up and called Marvin's Driving School on a whim. They lined me up with Mr. Dale right away and Im happy to say that my son takes his permit test on Tuesday. FINALLY! They are awesome and I'm so glad we used them. Terrific experience.
