I was looking forward to supporting this business. However, I was treated very rudely while attempting to schedule driver's training for my daughter. Because of the date I selected, the gentleman in the office indicated he wouldn't accept her because "she probably wouldn't finish and he wouldn't get paid." I was shocked at the assumption and the treatment. Although I'm disappointed, I am glad I got to see on the front end that this is the customer service they provide before funds were tied up with them.

The experience was awesome! Byron and Duane delivered an excellent course. I felt they provided all the materials and guidance necessary to be successful as much as possible - at the end of the day it is up to each student to ride that bike and take that exam. I've read some of the reviews and I will say that this course is not for everyone. At times it felt very demanding and not easy by any means, but majority of my class were 1st time riders and at no time did I witness any form of abuse, or derogatory demeanor from either instructor.

I actually applaud these gentlemen for their continued support and patience with us from start to end! Show up on time, follow the instructions given, and maintain a positive attitude will be helpful to gaining the most out of the course.

Jones Driver Education was very professional and patient with my daughter. Mr. Jones made my daughter feel comfortable but also gave her in-depth tips on how to improve her driving and the laws associated with it. Every day she came home excited to tell her about what she learned that day. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs that extra push for their kids to become proficient in their driving skills.

I took the motorcycle driver's training class a few years ago. Best money spent! The instructors were fantastic. Many thanks to Byron and Gerald for giving me the training and knowledge I need to be a successful biker.

Don't go here. it's way too much money and the workers are incredibly rude. I didn't get scheduled to practice with them ever, even after we called multiple times. we get hung up on as well. i'm getting my license today and they didn't put me in the system or give me a certificate that I completed the course. don't waste your time or money here.

BYRON IS ABSOLUTELY ABUSIVE WITH WOMEN! I was mistreated horrible by Byron. I am a first time rider, never rode a motorcycle. Everything was very new to me. 2 hours of newly being introduced to motorcycle riding, and I was berated by him in front of everyone, who most have touched a motorcycle. He was a lot nicer to others, yet when it came to me, he used it as a reason to verbally abuse me.

No one can learn anything in that type of environment, constantly being talked down to and yelled at. I had to tell Byron that he was yelling at me and that causes me to get frustrated, then I can't focus. If I can't focus, then I'll definitely make a mistake. The first rule of riding is to be in a good mindset. Definitely was not able to be in a good mindset there.

The other Instructor was a lot more patient, and I wish he could teach the course without Byron. I'm sure me and the other negative reviews would not exist if they did that. I don't know if Byron is "gatekeeping" or just enjoy being abusive towards women. I should have called the cops, and made a report before I left.

If you look at the reviews of this place they have a serious issue with being disrespectful to women. Not to mention verbally abusive towards women. Unfortunately this happened to my wife. She literally came home in tears. Please do not support this establishment. Wish I could give 0 stars!

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We had been warned this place was horrible and if there were any place else that offered the newly mandatory 30 hours classroom course, we would have gone there. I really wish there was another local driving school. This is the only reason he is still in business. The owner Mr. Jones has the emotional intelligence and professionalism of a toddler.

He appears to have a problem with woman and girls as well. The classroom experience was great. The instructor was knowledgeable and pleasant. My daughters first driving instructor was also nice and helpful for her first 1.5 hours of driving. However during her second session she was paired with the owner Mr. Jones who was rude, condescending, and provided no assistance or feedback during the drive.

My daughter was visibly upset after this session and reluctantly went back for her next one. She unfortunately was paired with Mr. Jones again who she said came out upset at someone who worked there and fussing about how he will not be disrespected by him. He then proceeded to take his frustration out on my child. He barks off some instructions to her the orders her into the car when she doesn't respond, he demands she say "Yes sir" and gives more orders.

When she responds with "Yes" and not "Yes Sir", he proceeds yell at her to get out the car and that he will not work with her because she is disrespectful. She calls me upset and I call him and ask what happened and relay what my daughter said. I ask him how was she disrespectful so I can make her apologize and she can be dealt with by me and her father.

He proceeds to be rude and disrespectful to me and tells me it's because she didn't say "Yes Sir" after he gave her instructions. My husband went to pick her up he also attempted to find out what really happened because he didn't believe this was all because she didn't say "Yes Sir", Mr. Jones confirmed it was and was very short with my husband.

The owner and office staff are beyond rude. They do not return messages being asked to call to schedule driving lessons. When I finally got the owner on the phone, he spoke to me more rudely than I've ever been spoken to. My daughter took the class in early June. It's November and she still hasn't had her driving sessions. When I asked to be scheduled, I was told they were booked for the next two weeks.

I asked to go ahead and schedule for the next available opportunity and was told they only book two weeks out. They force you to pay upfront and then don't follow through on scheduling the driving lessons and become rude and combative when they are called on it. I wish I had researched them online instead of relying on word of mouth before signing my daughter up for their class. According to their BBB rating/complaints and Google Reviews, this is a pattern for them. Save your money and go somewhere else. Don't trust these folks!

This establishment deserves no stars nor praise. I found out after doing my own investigation that the positive reviews are some of his actual employees plus associates to help his business in reviews. Jones, who I myself have had altercation with is rude, highly disrespectful & no where near professional. He him self isn't that intelligent seeing how he reacted to a cop telling him he was wrong on his own establishment.

I figure Jones being prior military & a brother mason(which you all need to watch out for). Jones, states he has been successful with his business but truth be told NO! There are REASONS why he does not have this business in Richmond County due to the fact, people know his terrible history. He didn't even want me to take his course when I arrived only to be turned around stating I did not sign up for his class after Jones & I had spoken over the phone.

Shouldn't a business man inform his potential student? Yet He'll miss out on bettering himself plus business due to the fact some one is working to have the establishment placed under investigation for his acts! BTW to have this posted it had to have a star, when it should be fine to post with any

Critical:Communication, Quality, Value Honestly, the Jones driving experience is horrible. The instructors do not give clear instruction while driving, and rather yell in your ear and expect you to know what to do. They aren't welcoming or friendly and even make there students cry. If they wanted to be drill sergeants they could've of chose another profession.

Byron is a wonderful instructor who took me from zero riding experience to feeling comfortable and confident on a bike. He's firm, overly fair, and fastidious in his passion for rider safety. P.S. Knowing how to drive stick/standard in a car helps a lot. P.P.S. Be patient and listen. He knows what he's doing.

Hello, I just wanted to spread the word about Jones Driving school in Augusta, Georgia. As a parent, I wanted to ask about liability coverage and driving school procedures. Because I asked these questions, they said it might be best that I select another school. RED FLAG folks. I would NOT recommend this driving school. I told them I couldn't believe they were actually upset that a parent wanted to ask such questions.

I also said, I was going to let others know and they said they could care less. The word of mouth is powerful. I had to edit this post, because I am noticing the couple of good reviews are being posted first and I do mean a couple. Please look up Jones Driving School reviews and you will see quite of few bad reviews.

Critical:Communication, Professionalism, Value I cannot emphasize enough. Do not waste your time and energy. I hesitate to say Mr. because that would suggest he deserves respect so I will say the Jones man that works the front desk. He is extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I highly recommend any other driving school except this one.

Mr. Jones was rude, unprofessional, and suggested that his time was more important and more valuable than that of his clients. We all live in a COVID environment now and yet when COVID concerns arise he refuses to be flexible and instead chose to belittle and berate his client. I would highly recommend choosing a different company with better customer service and a professional attitude.

My daughter called Jones Driving School in Grovetown today to ask what their social distancing policies are for the May classes. Mr. Jones himself answered the phone and refused to tell her. He told her he doesn't talk to children. As a parent, I encourage my children to make general inquiries such as this to help prepare them for adulthood. She is nearly 17 and is quite capable.

As a potential student, she has a right to know what precautions are being made for her safety. I called Mr. Jones myself and he was extremely rude. He told me he was too old to talk to children. How is this man supposed to teach with this attitude? I have sent two of my children to this school before without incident. I will not send another.

Mr. Jones is an amazing instructor. My teenager is one of the best drivers I know thanks to Mr. Jones. He has learned such good driving habits such as putting his phone on do not disturb while driving. When I sent him off to school in the big city, he was able to handle to road like pro and I know safety is his number one priority on the road. Thank you Mr. Jones and Jones Driving School. I will be trusting you with my next teenage driver really soon.

I am appalled by the rudeness, lack of honesty, poor communication, and basic customer service tenets from Mr. Jones. We paid for driving school right before anyone could anticipate the pandemic-unfortunately, Mr. Jones won't honor or issue a refund. When asked about it, he would change the story with each communication. First, he asked me to trust him to issue the refund; then, he said he changed his mind that he won't give a refund after following up with him multiple times. Why not just be candor and say you won't issue a refund. Don't conduct business with Mr. Jones or his company. Other companies are available in Augusta. Thanks.
