I was referred by a friend who did the class at EMS ISD. The classroom portion was great, behind the wheel driving was great. Mr. Greene and Mr. Haynes were great instructors. Michelle and the examiner were very nice too at the Grapevine office. Pretty solid experience, will be back in 5 years for my sister.

My sibling had went here with my mother and from the moment they pulled into the parking lot the instructor was being bias. The instructor had commented on the year of the car my sibling had to drive for the test and then at the end after the instructor failed him he said 'you should just take the test somewhere else.' He did not even allow him any chance to retry parallel parking.

Immediately failed my sibling for it after he had not even finished adjusting the wheel even though the person before him had said he was given 3 chances to parallel park. I would not recommend taking your child here if you want a fair and honest instructor to proctor your test for you so you don't have to repay for the test again.

This is one of the worse experiences I had with this school. My kid took the training from the same driving school and attended the test from the same school, after multiple attempts she was able to hardly make it. The training is not up to mark and the feedback on the testing is inadequate and unjustifiable. They have lot of issues with the training course. 1. Driving Schedules are not open.

They open the driving schedules on Monday night and there are only limited slots and they booked within 5 minutes. 2. The Driving Test instructions are pretty poor and they don't teach everything they will be testing on the road. 3. Class room makeup times are not flexible. If the kid misses a class it is very difficult to make up for that class. 4.

Everything costs - Every time you take test and any additional help you need from them costs money. 5. Unfriendly Staff- I raised my concerns with them during the test and they are supposed to reach me to sort out but no one reached me till date. I had to spend ton of time to drive with my kid to bring her up to speed. In one way I won't recommend this school. I would recommend explore different alternatives before considering this school.

Worst experience with green light driving academy. Don't send your kids here, it's just a waste of money and time. Instructors here are so rude and they don't even coach you properly. Their main aim is to make money not giving you proper training. Had a bad experience of taking pre test through them, the instructor was so rude and didn't coach well just was wasting time for no reason.

Even bad experience with the road test, failing for reasons as saying the wrong side of the road in a one way narrow road. I'm so frustrated and totally upset that I have gone here and just spend my money with no use at all. I Won't recommend anyone I know (friends, family) because it's such a bad driving academy with so. much rude and greedy people.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service we received at Green Light. Each staff member was courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional. My daughter, who was a bit nervous, was immediately put at ease and the driving instruction she received was excellent. We could not have been happier with our experience at Green Light Driving Academy.

Worst pretest and road test experience. For pretest the instructor had no clue what the keys were for the car and wasted 15 mins figuring that out. Didn't explain or coach anything in pretest. For road test the instructor failed citing reason drive on wrong side of road when it was a one lane one car fit road only. They then asked to take extra test for additional fees. DO NOT WASTE 200$ here for the test and pretest. It's better to do test at the DPS.

As a student, I would not recommend this driving school. It took them a month after I finished the classroom hours to put me in the system to start drive times. By the time I could start, it took forever for me to schedule a drive time that was available. They charge you outstanding fees and some of the driving instructors were not the nicest people in the world. One instructor made me pull over to a Taco Bueno so he could smoke a cigarette. DO PARENT TAUGHT IT'S FASTER AND EASIER

I am a previous driving instructor at this school. I have taught at 3 other schools and they are on par with others. The cars are ok. I have seen worse and better. Tom the owner is very busy but helpful. He is a good Christian man and is genuine. The Schedule To Drive system is used by ALL schools. So it would be the same everywhere. But, if there are so many students and only so many instructors and cars, then it is hard to get times.

All the schools I have taught at are the same. It is the reason I became an instructor because I could not get drive times. Ironic huh? Overall the school is good. I only did In Car not classroom instruction. But the ONE sore subject is the instructor Terry. He is terrible. He berates the students, he scares them. He yells at them. I have seen him make students tremble.

He seems to only be a rule enforcer NOT a teacher of driving skills. He makes rules up in his head; like he told me it was against the law to ride in the back seat without a learner's permit, really Terry?! Plus, why would a sane human being yell at the driver, driving a 2 ton vehicle that is already nervous. Terry should be fired. Terry is the one that gives the DPS test, just FYI.

If you go here, whatever you do, don't let your student be taught by Terry at all. You will regret it. He teaches ludicrous rules that are dangerous and I had to unteach them. The students were surprised when I told them that I was not going to yell at them like Terry did. Yelling does nothing but make things worse. Update: 10/14/16 P.S. I quit; I was not fired. Terry was still working here way after I quit until his demise. I am sure it was because of all of the bad reviews. The school and students are much better off. Dean

The man that gives the dps road test was very rude and seemed to rush the driving test. It seemed as if he was trying to scare me before the test even staring me down for no reason. Seemed like the other instructors were nice but this mans attitude ruined the whole mood of the place, I even heard someone else's parents talking about it while we were waiting. He didn't even introduce himself properly that's why I don't know his name. Small things like introducing yourself and smiling and being nice to customers go a long way.
