Excellent instructors. They take the time to show and teach you about the truck and how to drive the truck. They don't teach you the "test", they teach you how to drive so you can pass the "test", and be a safe driver.

From admission to graduation the school was awesome to work with. The one on one training makes it easy to focus on the areas that you are having issues with and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable. I was able to complete my CDL A program in 15 hours and passed my test on the first try. Great place to become a professional driver!

I would not recommend to go to this place ever. They have the worst assistances who is not capable to work with any customers/students. My friend who registered and paid for in-person one-on-one driving classes that supposed to start on May 9 (today is already May 11) asked me to call (he doesn't speak English well) and asked why he didn't received any information or schedule for the classes.

When everything was explained they was not able to find any information and keep transferring me to different persons. I spoke with 3 different assistant who was not able to provide any information on the question. It took about 30 minutes to speak with all of them. Finally, Jessica the last one who I spoke with yelled at me and said that they are closed for today and hang up. My husband also when to this school and it was always a problem to call them. But this time, I was treated so badly as never in my life.

I was a construction laborer but was constantly getting laid off sometimes 6 mths out of the year. I decided I needed a career that would allow me to work year round steady. A friend of mine suggested I get my CDL and recommended Allstate Trucking as he recently had gotten his CDL thru them. I was impressed with the infrastructure of the campus, modern facility with ample parking.

I was mostly impressed with the one on one instructor/ student module. The team of experienced & dedicated instructors led by Adam created the climate for technical training and hands on application, starting from classroom, pretrip, maneuvers, road practice, post-trip to develop the skills and confidence required to aquire your license and be a confident and successful CDL driver.

They also provided assistance with job placement thru a list of carriers. Coaching you on dress code for interviews and interpersonal skills during interviews. I definitely would recommend Allstate to anyone interested in getting their CDL.

Started going to a different CDL training school. They were disorganized and after class time, I had to wait around until it was my turn to drive. I decided to change to Allstate. It was a further drive but well worth the one-on-one training. A year after receiving my CDL B, I am attending Allstate's Forklift training. And again, the individual training is well worth the extra drive.

So far the school is so so, haven't started the driving aspect yet, but this classroom stuff is a complete joke. Don't really matter that you work hard and study or just slack off, they will pass you no matter what. The first review I left was 2 stars, but felt it appropriate to come back and change it, now I give a 1 since that's the lowest I can go, today was my scheduled test day and after being the first tester to show up and sign in I sat there for 7 hours while everyone else got to test and I'm the only one who got sent home and told I couldn't test today.

I really wish I spent my money on a school that actually values the person who spends thousands of dollars to learn from them. I would suggest that interested students look elsewhere first.

It was a great school for me! Everyone is professional, instructors are great. They teach you what you need to know to pass! One on one training, I was able to pass my road test on second try. Took about six weeks. Highly recommend this school for cdl a training.

Good school with knowledgeable instructors. Did my classes and test at Meriden yard. Sign up process was easy, trucks are decent (older but basic), learn tips and tricks along the way. Get prepared to take and pass the test. Did the 20hr course, takes 2 months from start to finish. If you have trailer and yard experience, this is a fast and smart next step to get your license. I recommend it.

Fantastic staff and great learning facility. Finished the 40 hour program for CDL class A and was given every bit of knowledge required to ace the test. A few instructors I worked with more so than others who helped tremendously were Roland, Nate and Connor. Thanks guys, you came in "clutch"!

I received my cdl training in 2015 with Allstate. All staff/teachers were very patient and knowledgeable. Adam and his brothers were especially helpful explaining the training process. They were very accommodating with my work schedule. I feel I received a thorough training. I strongly recommend Allstate Driving School if your looking to get your cdl license.

I went to Allstate to upgrade my Cdl B to an A. The school does every thing they can to make it and enjoyable positive environment. The instructors though are what makes an excellent experience. I trained with a few different guys all of who where amazing how ever one trainer stood out and for good reason he went above and beyond to make sure that I had my pre trip down to a science.

He wanted to ensure that all of the time I had spent with him paid off and it did for sure! I tested on a Saturday morning at 7:30 am and passed on my first try. Huge thank you to every one at the school but my hat goes off to Connor Lepensky for going the extra mile to ensure I passed! Thank you again Conner! Sincerely, Eric M

Got my license in 2018 from here. From the admission to graduation everything went quick and smooth I got my class A in 6 weeks. Adam explained everything when admitted.instructors were great. Fast forward today I ask for a refresher on shifting no problem on helping me out since I been driving automatic trucks since school. I would recommend anyone who is trying to get their cdl and have 1on1 training and support in the future with job assistance.

Instructors were great, that is the ONLY reason for 2 stars. Office staff were friendly until they got paid. Trucks were awful, promised 3 classes per week never happened 2 1 1/2 hour classes is all the time they had. Reply to owner: I do understand we were in a pandemic. That is a reason why my husband went to you also and his experience was pretty close to mine. My career would be better if I didn't have a a standard restriction because the trucks sucked and were extremely hard to drive.

I just upgraded my CDL from B to A and the experience was great! The instructors are really supportive especially Tim, Butch, and Pete. The 1 on 1 training was a perfect fit for me. The instructors were patient and made sure I understood concepts and maneuvers before we moved on to the next lesson. The whole experience was professional and the facilities were clean and safe.

My experience with Allstate was excellent. I cannot say anything negative about the trainers. I worked with 5 different trainers, but mostly with Timothy Jones. Tim was very knowledgeable, was good at making me feel relaxed during lessons, and made me feel like I was a student, not just a number. Highly recommended.
