This school was one of the first on the Northshore and their experience really shows. My kids have gone through the classroom and driving parts of the program and I really feel it helped then with getting road worthy.

This is one of the worst experiences with a public-service business I've ever experienced. First, I signed my daughter up -- May of last year -- for classes & paid the $350 or so for the fee. She quickly took the class & passed the written test. Then she scheduled her 4 driving sessions -- with the only available slots several months in the future.

Then we received an email stating her 1st 2 schedules were cancelled. My daughter was planning to take off class for her lessons. I replied to their email, and cancelled the 3rd lesson due to the schedule issues. They apparently did not read my email, & we were forced to pay $60 to "unlock the hold" put on her account for "missing a scheduled lesson." One lesson after another were cancelled.

It is now January of 2022, with no available openings in sight. I plan to make a formal complaint. They should not be in business. We might have to seek another company and lose all the fees. I hope I don't meet those jerks.

DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL! My son scheduled his class in July. Everything went fine, until I picked him up and he told me he has to schedule his drives online. When you go online, there are no available spots open for MONTHS! Finally got to schedule in October. I didn't say anything to them even though I thought it wasn't right. However, today they sent him an email that 1 of his driving times have been cancelled. He will have to log in to their portal to schedule another day. How do you get to take money and not deliver on the services? That's theft in my opinion.

Great in class hours but Choose another school for driving hours. I have 2 of 3 kids that went to this school. Both loved the in class part. But driving hours showed disrespectful and unprofessionalism towards both my son and daughter My daughter drove uncomfortably by the old man constantly touching my daughters hand and back and then assuming things bout her.

While my son got yelled at for small mistakes that you see everyone on the road do, even police officers. My son did apologize for the mistake but the instructor asked him why he did what he did and was rude. I want the best for them, this school wasnt it. My husband and I ended up teaching my kids how to drive better and be more comfortable when driving.

This place was amazing. All the instructors and staff were so nice and taught us everything we would ever need to know. They worked so hard to teach us and make a schedule that fit us. Absolutely the best place to learn how to drive on the Northshore.

The people running the school are extremely rude on every phone call; they're of no help when attempting to register for drives (they never have any available anyway). They even went so far as to tell me they wouldn't register my son for drives bc we hadn't checked online enough. Then yelled at me when I thought he was speaking to me (it was directed to an employee) and I asked for clarification. We will NOT complete the course at this school. We'll finish with a different driving school.

DO NOT GO HERE! Try any other place in the area. Had multiple classes canceled and rescheduled. Never answers the phone. I am on month 4 waiting for class 4 which just got canceled. It will take you half a year to get your license at this place. Checked every 15 minutes for classes and they would just pop up filled in. Finally was able to get my last ones but of course they get canceled or rescheduled for a month later. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Academics of driving is quick to accept your money with incredibly poor delivery of services. Classroom sessions happened on schedule, but getting in the four required 2-hour drives has been almost impossible. It has been over four months and still waiting for opportunities to schedule times for the last two drives. Not sure if this is a staffing problem or what. We have reached out to them several times without resolution.

Since my Facebook post/review was deleted by the company, I'll be leave Google and Yelp reviews online. Here was my experience today: I went to Academics of Driving LLC in Covington with my daughter for her driving test this morning. We were instructed to bring masks with us when we scheduled the appointment yesterday. As soon as we arrived, I noticed two 8"x10" signs in the entryway stating "FACE MASK REQUIRED", yet none of the 3 staff members I encountered immediately upon entering were masked.

When the instructor (Mike) invited me and my daughter into his office, I said politely but assertively: "I'm not comfortable with the no-mask situation." He smirked and asked if I was serious. I said: "Yes; I have respiratory conditions and I need to be very careful." My daughter nodded to confirm. He replied: "And you think this thing [gesturing to the flimsy gaiter slung around his neck] will protect you?" I didn't know how to answer that so I just sort-of stared blankly at him for a minute.

He smirked again and pulled the gaiter up over his mouth and nose - and he had to keep pulling it back up over his nose because it kept slipping every time he talked. The other (older) guy in the room didn't say anything (also an employee, apparently, but I didn't get his name), but he excused himself to go outside and he came back in wearing a disposable surgical mask.

And I thanked him for doing so - sincerely. Then the instructor (Mike) said he needed me to fill out and sign several papers, but I was uncomfortable leaning over his desk into his face, so I took the papers back out into the hall/entryway and held them up to the wall to fill out. The other (now-masked) guy politely brought me a clipboard to use "so the pen doesn't run out of ink".

My daughter (double-masked) was in a car with that ***hole (Mike) for the next 15-20 minutes during which time he asked her overly personal questions and commented how he "remembered" one of her co-workers. This dude is easily in his 50s and my daughter and her coworker are TEENagers.
